Implementing an RTI Continuum of Behavior Supports for Grades K-12 www.safeandcivilschools.com (for information from the conference)

| This
session presents an organizational model that matches student needs
(target and intensive) to multiple levels of behavior support. Each
level is based on proven problem-solving practices–moving from the
things all teachers in both general and special education settings
should implement to intensive interventions in restrictive settings.
Data is collected at each level to determine "response to intervention"
and progression to more intensive intervention as needed. By melding RTI
and multiple levels of behavior support, a best-practices
continuum of
services emerges. Participants will have an opportunity to assess
current service delivery and develop a plan for filling in gaps. In
addition, a menu of 18 evidence based interventions will be provided
with outline
information on the
essential implementation steps for each intervention.
