RISPA Quarterly PDF Print E-mail

The RISPA Quarterly is the official newsletter of the Rhode Island School Psychologist’s Association (RISPA). It is published three times per year with occasional special editions, and offered to members as a benefit of their paid membership. The intent of the RISPA Quarterly is to share with RISPA members all that is happening in the field of school psychology at the state and national level.

The RISPA Quarterly is transitioning to an electronic newsletter, which will be available as of the Fall 2010 edition. There are two electronic options for this: members may receive the newsletter via the RISPA listserv, or may receive the newsletter sent via traditional email (just make sure to identify your email address when completing the RISPA membership form). For those who still enjoy a traditional newsletter, please email RISPA's newsletter editor, Steve DeBlois, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your request, and one will be mailed to you. The RISPA Quarterly will be archived on the RISPA web site (www.rispa.org) upon the publication of the next subsequent issue.

Submissions are always welcome! Please send any newsletter submissions to Steve DeBlois at the email address listed above.  Submissions may take the form of individual research studies, journal article reviews, or book reviews related to the field of school psychology. School psychology graduate students, both practicum and internship level, may make submissions.

Appropriate advertising for the RISPA Quarterly is accepted at proportional rates. Notices of workshops, conferences, and meetings, even when a fee is charged, are considered newsworthy. Uncopyrighted articles may be reproduced by NASP affiliated state school psychologist associations and NASP publications provided the author and original sources are credited. Permission to reprint copyrighted articles must be obtained from the copyright holder.
